I'm back with some more coloring. This is another card from my Challenge class last month. I used the water color pencils on this card however I did not use any water. I just simply used them like you would a colored pencil. I love how this turned out.
Here is a close up of the flower....
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thanks for stopping by

I used the same stamp set as I did with my daughters card. I love the animals in this stamps set and I love even more that they can be colored. This cute little frog was stamped on crumb cake CS with Staz-on ink and water colored using the watercolor pencils and an aqua painter. The DSP is from the Cupcakes & carousels paper stack. I chose this paper because it reminded me of the sunshine and it just seemed to fit with this froggy. I tried to make sure I wasn't making it to cute since it was for my son; keeping things simple can be challenging.
I also wanted to let you know that there are some new Sale-a-bration items available starting today through March 31 2017 while supplies last. With every $50 you spend before S/H you can pick an item from either of the Sale-a-bration catalogs for free. The link to view the catalogs is on the right hand side of my blog.
Let me know if you have any questions and I thank you for stopping by. Have a fabulous week.

I'm taking a break from school work. I had to take a final today for a 5 week Finance class and I am happy to say I score a 98%, now I just have to do the essay part of the exam. I do love going to school but I think I might love stamping a wee bit more. I thought I would take a break and atleast blog about some stamping.
This card is the card I made for my daughter for Valentines Day. I had a lot of fun with this one. I got to use the new water color pencils and she loves elephants so this was perfect for her. I stamped the elephant from the Love you Lots stamp set (this is a hostess set) on shimmery white CS with Staz-on ink since I was going to be doing a litte water coloring. If you haven't tried the water color pencils yet you are missing out. I love these pencils and I have tried several different brands and these ones are AMAZING!
These are a new item and are very popular. You can find them in the occasions catalog. Item # 141709 $16.00 The DSP I used is also from the occasions catalog and is called cupcakes & carousels.
Well I guess I had better get back to my school work. I will be back soon with the final card in my Valentines Day series. See you soon:)

I find it so hard to figure out what to talk about on my blog. I don't want to just say here's a card I made and that's it, but not sure what I should be talking about. Anyways this card is what I made my hubby for valentines day. It's a very simple card but has an elegant feel to it. I used very vanilla CS and Red foil paper (which I believe is retired from the Christmas catalog). I embossed the top layer of very vanilla with the new falling petals embossing folder and punched the heart using the sweetheart punch. The sentiment is from Sealed with Love stamp set in the Occasions Catalog. That's pretty much it for this card, very simple but elegant.
Thanks for stopping by. I will be back soon with the cards I made for my kiddos for valentines. Have a great weekend and take some time for yourself.

Happy Super Bowl Sunday!
Today's card uses another stamp set from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog. It's called flowering fields on page 12. You can have this beautiful stamp set for free with a qualifying order. I stamped some of the flowers with versa mark and embossed with white embossing powder. The other ones were stamped in blackberry bliss. What do you think of that ribbon? The pool party glitter ribbon is in the Occasions catalog and it is AMAZING. Most glitter ribbons can be difficult to work with but not this one. It is so easy to work with and ties beautifully. The sentiment is from the "First Sight" stamp set in the Occasions catalog.
Well that's about it for today. I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend and enjoying the Super Bowl today.

I am trying something new. Every 2 weeks or so I want to have a challenge. It might be a color challenge or sketch, etc. For this week it will be a color challenge. Try making a project using only these 3 colors and a neutral if needed. I would love to see what everyone comes up with. However I'm not sure how to make it so you can post your card on this post, if anyone has any tips for me please leave a comment. I will do some research and hopefully figure it out. In the meantime please leave a comment and I will be sure to check out your creation. Good luck and have fun.
OMG!!! I love this set from the occasion catalog. When I first saw it I wasn't sure I was going to purchase it but let me tell you this has quickly become one of my favorite sets. You can get this set in a bundle of 11 stamps and 12 dies. There are so many possibilities with this set and it is so much fun to play with. That awesome paper I used for the cups are in the sale-a-bration catalog on page 19. It is a beautiful water colored look to the paper. If you would like to own this paper you only have until February 15th to get it, all you have to do is place an order of $50 before tax and shipping and you can pick this or any of the items in the sale-a-bration catalog for free.
Remember pages 16-19 of the sale-a-bration catalog are only available until February 15th, however the items on pages 1-15 are available until March 31st. Don't miss out on something you really wanted.
Don't you just love the marbled look this paper gave to the cups. The cup ring is from a stamp in the Timeless textures set (also in the occasions catalog), so much fun.
