miss you

Good evening, here it is Sunday night and I can't believe I haven't gotten anything done all week. Well I did get my house cleaned yesterday but it seems like I haven't had anytime to stamp. Work sure gets in the way of my stampin time. lol. Oh well I eventually get around to it. This is a card I made for a friend at work. I used the Asian Artistry stamp set (a level 2 hostess set). The paper used were The write Stuff Specialty paper and Chocolate chip patterns DS paper. I also used Very vanilla CS and mellow moss CS. I used my circle scissors plus to cut out the circle. I don't know if you can see it but I added some silver beads to the image and some pearls from the pretties kit. I really like how this card turned out. This is the inside of the card. I folded it to hold a gift card and added some brads to form a pocket. I stamped the dragonfly on one side and then reversed the image for the other side. What do you think? Thanks for stoppin by and have a great night.

Easter

This is the Easter card I made for my kids this year.  This is so fun.  The chicks are made from the Circle punch, itty bitty flower punch, the scallop circle punch, and the owl punch.  I made the grass using the new fringe scissors.  The clouds are done using a template and sponging soft sky ink.

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

Flowering Fields

Happy Super Bowl Sunday!
Today's card uses another stamp set from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog.  It's called flowering fields on page 12.  You can have this beautiful stamp set for free with a qualifying order.  I stamped some of the flowers with versa mark and embossed with white embossing powder.  The other ones were stamped in blackberry bliss.  What do you think of that ribbon?  The pool party glitter ribbon is in the Occasions catalog and it is AMAZING.  Most glitter ribbons can be difficult to work with but not this one.  It is so easy to work with and ties beautifully.  The sentiment is from the "First Sight" stamp set in the Occasions catalog.
Well that's about it for today.  I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend and enjoying the Super Bowl today.
Happy Stamping!

Pleasant Poppies

These are a couple of Sympathy cards I made this week for 2 different friends.  I used the same set Pleasant Poppies and water colored one with Primrose Petals and the other with Raspberry ripple.  Love the new In-colors from Stampin Up!  I used 2 different framelits from the Apothecary Accents set.  On the bottom of the top card I used one of the Finishing Touches Edgelits (love them) and the other one I used one of the Adorning Accents Edgelits.  The ribbon is just some of the Taffeta Ribbon in very vanilla which I sponged with the matching in-colors to get the color I wanted.  The sentiment is done using a stamp from the Petite Pairs Stamp set and punched out with the new Ticket Duo Punch. The very vanilla layer is embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper Folder.  Well thats it for me tonight.  Thanks for stopping by.   Feel free to leave a comment, I would love to hear what you think.
