Mojo Monday a week late

I guess it's better a week late than never. Last week seemed like I didn't get anything done. I really like this sketch and didn't want to skip it so I thought I would make a card using it even though it's late. I really hope to get to this week challenge before the end of the week. On this card I used the echoes of kindness stamp set for the image and the Flight of the butterfly stamp set on the black strip along with dear friend. I embossed the yellow using the big shot texturz dies and the butterfly is also from the big shot. I colored the flower with my water color pencils. I hope everyone is having a good start to a new week. Enjoy and happy stamping.

Birthday Card

Well I have been working on this card all night. I wanted it to be perfect and nothing I did seem to be right. I started with the flower stamp which I love and was happy with but I couldn't figure out what to put with it. I have had the hat pins and accessories for a long time and have never used them before. The big flower in the back ground was white but I sponged it with almost amethyst ink. After trying several different things with this card I am very happy with the end result.
This is a Birthday card for my dear sweet Grandma. I'm not sure how old she is going to be but she is just the sweetest lady. Well I hope you like it. Thanks for stoppin by.
Have a good night:)

Mothers Day card

I'm back. This will be my last card for tonight. Can you tell I got a shipment of new stamps recently. lol. I have been stamping, stamping, stamping today. As much as I would love to keep stamping I have to stop because my kitchen is a mess. On this card I colored the image with watercolor pencils and I inked around the edges of the sentiment. This was from a sketch I found on the SCS site. vsapr1 http://vervestamps.blogspot.com I hope you like it. Thanks for looking. Have an excellent night:)

beautiful baby

Hi, Another card for today. I made this one for the newest little guy in our family. There's not much to do around here today so I've just been playing with stamps and ink. We had a snow day today, which is fine with me since I had to stay home anyways with a sick little girl. She has been home all week. I hope everyone can find some time to unwind and stamp. If your like me it's the best therapy, LOL. (A little music, a cup of coffee, and my stamps) Thanks for stoppin by and enjoy:)

Praying for You

Mojo Monday week 82/ Merry Christmas

Happy Wednesday, This is my card for the mojo monday challenge. I've seen some people are making Christmas cards every month and I thought that was a good idea. I always want to send out home made cards to everyone at Christmas time but I never seem to get them done in time. Maybe this way I will finally be able to send them out for christmas. LOL.

All supplies used were Stampin UP. The image was from the Christmas Classics stamp set and the sentiment was from the All Holidays stamp set. The DS paper was from the I wish simply scrappin kit, and the CS was real red and white. I colored the image with water color pencils and added some gold embossing powder to the image and the sentiment. The snowfalke was embossed with silver. I added a silver star brad to ribbon.

I think this turned out very cute. What do you think? I hope everyone is having an excellent week. Thanks for stoppin by:)

Bath Time Bubbles

Good Evening,

Today I made these scrapbook pages. We recently remodled our bathroom and I finally got a jet tub. Which the kids love, since it makes tons and tons of bubbles. The picture didn't turn out very good, lighting was bad. The pages actually turned out very nice. I used Baja Breeze CS for the base and a DS paper from sweet slumber. I stamped the letter in ridding hood red on vanilla CS. To make the big circles I used my SU circle cutter. I stamped bubbles on the circles and heat embossed them with clear and white embossing powder. I also stamped bubbles all over the Baja Breeze CS. The duck was from a stamp set out of the new mini catalog "wagon full of fun". I hope everyone is having a good week. Thanks for looking.

Mojo monday 81

Good Afternoon, I know I said I was going to stay up and stamp Saturday night but I ended up being lazy, and Sunday was just to busy around here. So here it is Monday and time for some mojo. I just love this sketch. I used If the Halo fits stamp set from SU. I couldn't decide if I wanted to order this set but decided I needed an angel in my collection. I am sooooo glad I did. I just love her. I colored her with my stampin' write markers and I added some iridescent ice emboss powder to her wings and some gold embossing powder to her halo. The papers I used was Perfect plum CS and Barely banana CS and some DS paper from the 2 Sweet simply Scrappin set and Sweet Slumber Specialty paper. (all from SU). I thought this card would be cute if it opened from the middle. I am very happy with how this turned out. Since we are off for spring break I hope to have more posts this week. Have a good night and stamp, stamp, stamp. Thanks for looking.

Saturday, April 4, 2009

Hi there, happy Saturday. This is a card I made using the Bloomin' Beautiful set. I used my watercolor crayon and my aqua painters to color this stamp. I added a flower brad and 3 green gem brads. I really like how this turned out. I might have some more post later since its snowing and I can't go anywhere, I'll probably spend the night stamping. (Yeah)

For all of you enjoying your spring flowers, this is what springtime in Wyoming is like. Well I hope you are enjoying your weekend and take some time out to stamp.

Mojo Monday Week 80

Well it's Wednesday night and I'm back to staying up past my bedtime, I guess I'll worry about that in the morning. LOL. This is my card for the mojo monday challenge this week. I used two different Stamp set on this one. They are both from the Hostess sets at SU. I colored the flowers with my SU watercolor pencils. I used my paper piercer to punch holes in the scallop circle and the border at the bottom. Kinda got a country look to it. It took me a while to get this one done but I am happy with this finished card. I started out with a different stamp which I really love but I couldn't figure out how to use it with this layout so I'll just save it for another card. Well I hope you like it and have great rest of the week. Thanks for stoppin by.
