Stamping 411

T.G.I.F.!!! Well I am soooo glad it's the weekend, how about you? I made this card for the stamping 411 sketch challenge. I have to try to keep up with my friend France and she has been doing these stamping 411 challenges, so I thought I would give it a try. I Love this card. I got to play with a lot of new stuff thats not available until May 1st. This cute little fairy image was so much fun to color. The BG paper is the new Presto Patterns Specialty paper. I used the new smooch spritz to color it. I just sprayed several of the different colors and blended with a sponge dauber. I then added some regal rose ink in a few spots. It turned out very nice with lots of shimmer to it. I got the idea for this from a gal named Sandi. here is a link to her instructions. I sewed around my image to finish it off. The sentiment is from the Tiny Tags Stamp set in the occasion mini catalog. Here is a close up of the fairy. Thanks for stoppin by. TTFN!!:)

Big shot purse

This is a purse I made for my daughter for her birthday coming up next month. She has been begging me to make her a purse ever since she saw mine. I thought these colors were very cheerful for an 11 year old, and her favorite color is blue so I tried to use a lot of blue on it. I made a bigger pocket on this one, I'm not sure if you can tell but it is 2 squares wide and 2 squares deep. Well I hope you like it. I hope to make a card later today. Thanks for stoppin by. TTFN!!:)

Color Throwdown #88

This card I made for a friend for her birthday. I used the color throwdown #88 challenge for this card. Tangerine Tango, so saffron, and basic gray,I love these colors together. I never think of using gray, but I love it. I used some of the items out of the new summer mini. The stamp set is called Sweet Scoops, what a fun stamp set to play with. I added some dazzling diamonds to the ice cream and some crystal effects to the cherry. (I love playing with glitter) I didn't have any gray ribbon so I colored my white ribbon with my gray marker, wiped it with a baby wipe and let it dry. Thanks for stoppin by. TTFN!!:)

Mojo Monday 133

Well, I finally found some time to stamp. I had to go back to work to find the time to get some stamping done. lol. I made this card using the mojo monday sketch. I used the Abundant Hope SS for my image and I also used a stamp from the Vintage Vogue for the background on my little rectangles. Now, I have to tell you how I did the background on those. I started with 2 rectangles in black CS. I then covered them with Taken with Teal Stampin pastels. Then I inked up my stamp with versa mark and stamped on top of the chalked paper, which revealed the black CS. I guess you could call this reverse chalkboard technique.

Here is a close up picture of the flower image. I added some clear micro beads to the center of the flowers. And a close up of the reverse chalkboard. What do you think? Thanks for stopping by.
