Stamping 411 again

Good Morning!! This is my 2nd card for this weeks stamping 411 sketch challenge. I wanted to try one with an oval shape like in the sketch and I have been dying to ink up this stamp and color it. This is the flower from the Happiness shared Stamp set. I watercolored this with my stampin write markers. I love how this card turned out. Well I hope everyone has a great tuesday! Thanks for stoppin by:)

Swap card

This is the card I made for a swap that we were doing at our demonstrator meeting this month. I stamped the image on water-color paper with stazon and water colored it with my stampin write markers and an aqua painter. The cute little scallop square is from a new die coming out in the holiday mini and so is the spider web embossing folder, the black lace trim, and the glimmer brads. I had alot of fun doing this swap and got some great cards in return. Well I'd better go get ready to head out, today is registration for the kiddos to go back to school.(boo hoo) Have a great day and thanks for stoppin by:)

Stamping 411

So is August to early for Christmas? I don't think so, heck they celebrate christmas in July so why not in August. ha ha:-) Well I made this for the Stamping 411 sketch challenge. I used a stampset that will be coming out in the holiday mini starting september 1. I water-colored the image with my stampin write markers (one of my favorite ways to color). I added some fluffy snow stuff I had to the hat. (wish stampin up would come out with some snow). I also used a new snowflake embossing folder and rubbed some shimmer paint over them to make them standout. Here is a picture of the inside. I love to finish the inside with a little something extra. Hope you like what you see. Thanks for stopping by:)

Mojo Monday 150

Wow, it has been forever since I participated in Mojo monday. Well this week is contest week. Check out their sketch here . I have been wanting to use this stamp set since I saw it in the catalog. I stamped the image on watercolor paper with staz-on. I colored the image using a watercolor technique with my stampin write markers. I have never watercolored using my markers before, love this technique. I then used some crystal effect on the heart and sprinkled with dazzling diamonds. I used Shara sand, poppy parade, and so saffron CS. I used the polka dot embossing folder on the poppy parade and so saffron CS. The DSP is called newsprint which I sponged with not quite navy ink and then sprayed with my alcohol and shimmer paint mixture. The flower is the new paper flowers sponged with daffodil delight, a little dazzling diamonds on the edges and an antique brad in the center. The ribbon is the victoria crochet trim, which I added 2 pearl jewels to. I am very happy with how …

Monogram cards

Well here it is almost 12:30 and I can't sleep so I thought I would post this monogram cards I made for my kids. They are going to camp tomorrow for 4 days. I used their favorite colors. I don't have my catalog with me so I'm not sure what the name of the Alphabet stamp set is called. It's the new set in the big catalog. The sentiment is from the apple blossom stamp set, which is a hostess set. On the inside I used the new owl punch to create this cute little owl. I thought the kids would get a kick out of that "owl miss you". So, what do you think? I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday, Thanks for stoppin by:)
