I'm back. I made most of this card last night around midnight and finished it up this morning. The stamp set I used on this one is a new hostess set in 2010/2011 SU catalog. It's called Apple blossoms. On the leafy stamp I stamped in Always artichoke and then sponged Frost white shimmer paint on the stamp before I stamped it. (maybe you can see the shimmer in it) Well thanks for stopping by. Have a great day:)

I saw this tractor made with punches somewhere and thought it would make a cute fathers day card for my husbands uncle. I used several different punches for the tractor. for the wheels I used the 1 1/4 inch circle punch, 1 inch circle punch, scalloped circle punch (punched twice), and the trio flower punch. The body is the large tag punch, the seat is hearts punch, the smoke stack is the word window punch, the steering colum is hand cut, the smoke is also from the flower punch. I used my ink pads and sponges to create the background and hand drew the fence. Thats it for today. Thanks for stoppin by:)

This card I made just for the fun of it. I have been dying to use this stamp set. If you know me you know I love to color. I used my ink pads and a blender pen to color this image. The flowers are colored with pretty in pink and cherry cobbler and the leafs are so saffron and old olive. I love the new colors. The card base is early espresso. The bird is stamped in early espresso and then sprayed with the vanilla smooch spritz.
Here is a close up of the flowers. Thanks for stoppin by, have a good day:)

I made this card for the Stamping 411 challenge. This is a Fathers Day card for my hubby. I used my watercolor crayons and colored the background on whisper white paper and blended with my water brush. When that was dry I stamped an image from Lovely as a Tree with black Stazon ink. I used some of the smaller images from this set to create a background on the Always Artichoke CS. I used the little leaf from this set and the build a brad set to create the brad on the left. The ribbon is the new ribbon coming in July (Love it). I used the fork method to create the bow ( thanks France), love how easy that is to create a nice bow. I also used a strip of new DSP called Greenhouse Gala.
Here is a picture of the inside. The sentiment is from another new set called Occasional Quotes. This is a hostess set. Thanks for stoppin by and I hope you have time to stamp this weekend. TTFN:)

Surprise, surprise I'm back. lol. I know I'm off work for the summer so I should be able to post more often but this week has been busy. I finally got all my paper neatly organized and I am ready to start stamping again. Well this card I started off wanting to do the Stamping 411 sketch but ended up going another way. I'll have to do the Stamping 411 tomorrow. This card is for my hubby. Our anniversary is on Sunday, 12 wonderful years together. Almost everything on this card is new except for the Very vanilla CS the pewter brad and the metal swirly thing. This is a really neat card I saw on another ladies blog a while back. (http://dawnsstampingthoughts.typepad.com/) It has a secret door and opens up where you can leave a hidden message. How cool is that!!! On the front of the card I used an image from Studio Sketches and I also used the vintage wallpaper embossing folder and the DSP is called Newsprint. (all new items coming in July).
On the inside of the card I used the bird from Elements of style a sentiment from Occasional Quotes and a sentiment from With all my heart Stamp sets. Here you can see how it opens to reveal a hidden page. very cool!!!

This is a card I made tonight for a friends birthday. I used the stamps from the Petite Pansies simply sent kit and the butterfly is from the summer mini. I used my blender pen with my ink pads to color. The paper is also from the summer mini, it's called Presto Patterns DSP. I colored it with my Old Olive ink pad and a brayer and then sprayed it with the vanilla shimmer mist. Well I hope you are having an excellent week. Thanks for stoppin by:)
