OMG!!!! Happy Halloween

Take a look at these cute little candy boxes we made for my kid's to take to school. These turned out soooooo cute. I worked on these until midnight, but it was soooo worth it to see the kids so excited to take them to their class and show everyone what we made. One of my co-workers came over and helped out for a few hours (thank you so much Janice) and the kids helped until about 9:00. My son punched out all the bats and filled the boxes with candy while my daughter drew all the eyes on the bats and sprayed the boxes with the alcohol and shimmer paint mixture. I used the Fancy favor box die to cut out the boxes and I then embossed them with the spider web embossing folder. They were then sprayed with my shimmer paint mixture and the handles were made with a piece of CS 1" x12" and attached with brads. Enjoy your day! Thanks for stopping by:))

snowman

Hi all!! Well I have been playing with bleaching again. The snowman is from the jolly old saint nick Stamp Set. I used the same method as my previous card with the bleach and re-inkers to color the snowman. On the background paper I brayered Baja Breeze ink on the Northern Flurry embossing folder and ran it through the big shot on a piece of whisper white CS. Love this it really makes those snowflakes stand out. I sponged some frost white shimmer paint over the snowflakes, love the way they turned out. I again used the stamping 411 sketch but instead of a square shape I used an oval. Check them out here . This card also looks great with out the image. Hope you have a great week:)

Stamping 411

Good evening! I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend, I know I am. So glad to be off work. For todays card I used the stamping 411 sketch. They always have great sketches to work with. Check them out here . On this card I used the santa from the Jolly Old Saint Nick stamp set. I stamped him on crumb cake CS. For the white parts I used bleach in one of my water pens. The rest I painted with re-inkers some water and a paint brush. I embossed his boots with clear embossing powder to make them shinny so they look like real boots. The snowflake is a die called snowflakes set #2, it comes with 4 different snowflakes. I added dazzling diamonds to make it sparkle. The DSP is called deck the halls. I sprayed the DSP with my alcohol and shimmer paint mixture and I also added some rhinestone jewels.

Here is a picture of the inside. The snowflakes are from the serene snowflakes set and the sentiment is embossed with chocolate chip ink and clear embossing powder. I hope you like what you see. Thanks for stopping by:)

Acetate box

Well I was suppose to go to a downline meeting tonight but life gets in the way sometimes, so I didn't make it. We were going to exchange small gifts. This is what I had made for that. It is an acetate box to hold something small, like CANDY!!!! I didn't have any clear acetate so the sheets I used are retired but that was all I had. The CS is Cajun craze and the DSP is Autumn spice. The stamp set is called batty for you, which I colored with my markers directly on the stamp and then stamped on Whisper white CS. I layered it on a piece of cajun craze punched with the scallop circle. I added a little dazzling diamonds for a little sparkle. This was way fun to make and makes a cute gift. Thanks for stopping by:)
