I've got my eyes on you!

OMG, was this card ever fun to make.  I've had the "make a monster" stamp set for  a while but this is the first time I've used it.  I used the Stamping 411 sketch to make this card.  I stamped the monster with black staz-on on water color paper and added some eyes, mouth, and antenna's.  I colored it with my SU watercolor pencils.  I didn't have any cool monster paper so I stamped some of the eyes on a piece of elegant eggplant paper with my elegant eggplant ink.  I used my build-a-brads with the eyeball stamps, I know the build-a-brads are no longer available but I thought the eyeballs would be cute.  If I had the new polka dot brads I would have used them and the glitter brads would also look great.  Oh yeah I also added crystal effects to the eyes on the monster.  I printed the sentiment from my computer.  The colors used on this card are:  Basic black, elegant eggplant, old olive, and whisper white.  On the inside of the card I layered a piece of whisper white and stamped a row of eyeballs.  Well that's it for now, thanks for stopping by and have a great 4th of July weekend!!

Your build a brad eyes are wonderful ~ this is such a cute card ~ thanks for playing along with the Stamping 411 girls!

This is the Easter card I made for my kids this year.  This is so fun.  The chicks are made from the Circle punch, itty bitty flower punch, the scallop circle punch, and the owl punch.  I made the grass using the new fringe scissors.  The clouds are done using a template and sponging soft sky ink.

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

Flowering Fields

Happy Super Bowl Sunday!
Today's card uses another stamp set from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog.  It's called flowering fields on page 12.  You can have this beautiful stamp set for free with a qualifying order.  I stamped some of the flowers with versa mark and embossed with white embossing powder.  The other ones were stamped in blackberry bliss.  What do you think of that ribbon?  The pool party glitter ribbon is in the Occasions catalog and it is AMAZING.  Most glitter ribbons can be difficult to work with but not this one.  It is so easy to work with and ties beautifully.  The sentiment is from the "First Sight" stamp set in the Occasions catalog.
Well that's about it for today.  I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend and enjoying the Super Bowl today.
Happy Stamping!

Pleasant Poppies

These are a couple of Sympathy cards I made this week for 2 different friends.  I used the same set Pleasant Poppies and water colored one with Primrose Petals and the other with Raspberry ripple.  Love the new In-colors from Stampin Up!  I used 2 different framelits from the Apothecary Accents set.  On the bottom of the top card I used one of the Finishing Touches Edgelits (love them) and the other one I used one of the Adorning Accents Edgelits.  The ribbon is just some of the Taffeta Ribbon in very vanilla which I sponged with the matching in-colors to get the color I wanted.  The sentiment is done using a stamp from the Petite Pairs Stamp set and punched out with the new Ticket Duo Punch. The very vanilla layer is embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper Folder.  Well thats it for me tonight.  Thanks for stopping by.   Feel free to leave a comment, I would love to hear what you think.
