Duct Tape Wallet

Well the kids have been into making wallets out of duct tape, so of corse I wanted to give it a try.  Oh my gosh they are so cute and you can get all different kinds of Duct Tape.  Purple is my favorite color so of corse I had to have a purple wallet.

This one has 6 credit card slots and a money slot.  This is so replacing my expensive wallet, lol.  I love it.
Well thats it for today.  Thank you for stopping by.  Happy New Years Eve!  :))

Winters Day

Hello Stampers,

I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas.  I know we had a great time with both sides of the family.  We always go to my family for Christmas eve and my hubbys side of the family on Christmas Day.  I am very happy to be on Christmas break from work, however we have had sick kids the whole time.
:(

This will probably be my last winter card for a while I am sooo ready for flower and butterfly's and hearts and so on.  This image is my first Saturated Canary Image, yea!!!!  I colored her with copic markers and prisma colored pencils.  The DSP is a new one from SU in the sell a bration mini.  Its out of a paper stack called print poetry DSP stack.  Love this little stack they are perfect for cards.  You get 4 sheets  of each design 4 1/2 x 6 1/2.  The EF I used is also from sell a bration it is called Vine Street (you can choose this or one of the free items with a $50.00 order).  The flower is also from the new mini.  It is actually a flower ribbon, I just cut one of and sponged it with gumball green ink.
Here is a close up of the colored image.  I bet my daughter would just love to have an outfit like this.  This was my first attempt at red hair, I think it turned out pretty good.

Thanks for stopping by:)

Angel Tilda

Good Evening!  This card is made using one of the new Tildas from the "A Christmas Story" collection.  I colored her using a combination of Copic Markers and prisma colored pencils.
I cut her out using an oval nestabilities die.  The shading around her is done using antique linen ink and a sponge.  of course I added stickles to her wings and halo.
Here is a view of the inside.  I kept with the same layout as the front.  I hope you like it.  Thanks for stopping by.

November Thank you gifts

Hi there!  These are some little thank you gifts I made for my November orders.  They are cute little box to hold Ghiradelli Square chocolates.
I used Crumb Cake and Baja Breeze CS and the DSP is called Floral District.  The stamp set used is called Perfect  Punches.  These could easily hold 3 chocolate squares.

Holly

Happy Saturday!!!!!!!!  I'm so glad its the weekend.  This is another card kit from Heathers Hobby Haven.  This cutie is called "Holly" and she is from Whimsy Stamps.  I love the die cuts used on this card.  I don't have them yet but would love to.
She is colored with copic markers.  I used the blue spica glitter pen for hear headband and the diamond stickles for her wings and the frost stickles for the snow.  I love how this turned out.  I was so nervous when coloring the scarf and leg warmers they are such tiny areas to color and since I don't actually own the stamp I only had 1 chance to get it right.  This kit was actually a free gift in my order.  Thank you so much Heather, I wanted this one so bad but missed out before is sold out.  Well I hope you like it.  Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous weekend!  :)

Hi There,

I'm back with another card kit from Heathers Hobby Haven!  I have several of her kits so you will be seeing more of these.  Love the kits!

This card was so much fun, I loved making a scene in the background.  Lucy is cut out and popped up on dimensionals.  Well I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and now its time to go back to work tomorrow.  Have a great week.  Thanks for stopping by:)

Clean and Simple with Merry Minis

Good Morning,

Sometimes you just need to make a clean and simple card.  I used the sketch over at The Sweet Stop for this card and the color challenge at Dynamic Duos.  Wow time got away from me I almost missed entering this in the color challenge.  I have to say those little stamps from the Merry Minis stamp set and the matching Punch Pack are so much fun to play with.  The colors are Sahara Sand and Cherry Cobbler.  I stamped the Sentiment from the Curly Cute stamp set on the Sahara Sand CS and then embossed it with Petals-a-Plenty EF.  The ribbon is the seam binding ribbon in Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler.  I felt like the trees needed a little sparkle so I added so Dazzling Details to them.
and here's the inside of the card.  The sentiment is from the Beautiful Season stamp set.  Well that's it for today.  Hope everyone has a great day.  Thanks for stopping by:)

Bells & Boughs

Good Evening,

Wow this was a fun card to make.  Of course I enjoyed it cause I got to watercolor, he he!  I used the sketch at Paper Craft Crew for this card.  It was a bit of a challenge to get the cherry cobbler piece the right size and the sentiment in just the right place so that the image wouldn't cover it up, but I love the result.  The DSP is from the Candlelight Christmas in the Holiday catalog.  The stamp is from the bells & boughs stamp set, stamped on  watercolor paper with stazon ink.  I water colored with a water tank brush and my ink pads.  Colors used are more mustard, cherry cobbler, and Old Olive.  I added some cherry cobber dazzling details to the berries and silver sparkle dazzling details on a few spots on the bells.
Here is a view of the inside of the card.  I stamped another of the images from the stamp set on the inside and water colored it.  Well that's it for tonight thanks for stopping by:))

Christmas Choir Girl part 2

Happy Monday!  It's a very happy Monday since I didn't have to work today, yea!!!!!!  Instead I cleaned house and stamped, ahh the perfect day.  This card uses the same image as the one from yesterday except this time I water colored her with distress ink.  Water coloring might just be my absolute favorite thing to do.  I love to color with my copic markers just as much but theres something about dipping a paint brush in the ink and moving it around that just makes me so happy.
Here is a close up of the image.  It's hard to see in the photo but there is a little yellow glow around the image. I used the sketch over at Mojo Monday for my card and I am also going to enter this in the Monthly Challenge at Bunny Zoe's Crafts, which is to use a winter theme.  I love the little snowflake on the sentiment instead of a flower, perfect for Christmas.
Here is a glimpse of the inside of the card.  This card is going to a very sweet lady, I hope she likes it.
Here are the colors used on the image:
Skin: Tattered rose, tea dye, aged mahogany
Hair:  antique linen, gathered twigs, vintage photo, walnut stain
Robe: pumice stone, barn door
Leafs:  shabby shutter, pine needles
Cat:  black soot, aged mahogany, barn door, fired brick marker, bell- wild honey
Background: wild honey, pumice stone

Thanks for stopping by:))

Christmas Choir Girl

Good Evening,  This card is made using a kit I got from Heathers Hobby Haven.  The stamp is called Chistmas Choir Girl by Whimsy Stamps.  I can't believe its been so long since I've sat down and colored an image.  It felt sooooo good to color.  I love this image.  This one is colored with copic markers, one of my favorite things to color with.  I also made another card with the same image only I water colored it with distress inks, my other favorite way to color.  I will show that card tomorrow.
Here is a close-up of the image.  I have tomorrow off thankfully so I hope to get caught up on some organizing and stamping, and maybe some laundry.  Well that's all for tonight.  Thanks for stopping by and feel free to leave a comment I'd love to hear from you.

Field Flowers Birthday!

Happy Tuesday!!!  Well I found a challenge called Try Stampin On Tuesday, and so I did!  Love the sketch they had.  Hop on over and give it a try.  I made this card for a good friend of mine for her birthday.  colors used on this card are Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, and Very Vanilla.  The DSP is from the Comfort Cafe pack and the Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stacks.  The Flower is from the Field of Flowers Stamp Set Punched out with the 13/4" circle punch and layered and the Blossom Punch.  The Butterfly is from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set punched out with the Elegant Butterfly Punch.  The Happy Birthday is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set Die cut with the Bitty Banners Framelits.
Here is a glimpse of the inside, you can see that I added some of the DSP and a butterfly stamped in the corner.  Both the Flower image and the butterfly are popped up on dimensionals.  Thanks for stopping by.  Feel free to leave a comment, I would love to hear from you. :)  Have a great rest of the week.

Dynamic Duos

Hello Stampers!

I can't believe the weekend is over all ready!  I made this card using the colors combo at Dynamic Duos which is to use Pool Party and Soft Suede.  The stamp set used is French Foliage.  I love the Doilies in the Delicate Doilies Sizzlits Die.
I'm not sure if you can see it but after I stamped the leafs on the very vanilla circle I sprayed it with vanilla shimmer smooch spritz, love the sparkle this added to the card.  Well thats it for tonight, thanks for stopping by.  Fell free to leave a comment I would love to hear what you think.

Dynamic Duos

Happy Monday!!!!!!  Well it's a very happy Monday for me, because there's no school or work today, yippee! :))  I used the challenge over at Dynamic Duos for my color choice on this card, except I used pumpkin pie instead of tangerine tango.  For the focal point on this card I used the Label collection Framelits.  I cut a piece with the same size as the one I used on my card and then cut it again with the one size smaller to create a mask.  I then sponged with crumb cake and stamped the pumpkins from the Jack of All Trades stamp set and then removed the mask.  Love the look of this.  Those pearls on the bottom where white but I colored them with my Old Olive marker and then heated them up with my heat gun and immediately dipped them in clear embossing powder and then heated them up again.
Here is a view of the inside of the card.  I believe the Sentiment is from a stamp set called Seasonal sayings, which is a hostess set in the Holiday catalog.  Well that's it for tonight.  Thanks for stopping by.  Happy stamping!!

Pumpkin Box

Eph 3:17-19 "that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge."

Happy Sunday!  This is a Pumpkin Box I designed for a gift.   I found a challenge called stampin' sisters in christ challenge and this week they want us to make a box or a card with an box on it.    The scripture above I copied from their website.

For the box I used the scalloped circle die and the 3 1/2" circle and the 3" circle dies.  I embossed the top circle with the Vintage Wallpaper EF.  For the box I cut a piece of paper 3x11 and scored at  1/2" on the 11" side and then cut slits about every 1/2 inch all the way.  Glued the 3 1/2" circle to the inside of the bottom and then glued that to the scalloped circle.  For the lid I cut a piece of 1 1/2" x 11 and did the same thing only I glued it to the 3" circle.

scrapbook page

Wow I can't believe I have been gone for so long.  I am trying to get back to posting more often.  This is a scrapbook page I made using a kit I got from my friend France.  I did change up the pages to fit the photos I had from my kids State shoot this summer.  I have to say it was a lot of fun to actually make some pages with pictures on them, lol.  I  have so many pictures that needs scrap booked I will never be caught up, Oh well!

I had to do more of a collage look to fit all the pictures in, but I  think I kinda like it.  Well I'm off work for the next 4 days so maybe I'll get some stamping done.  Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend!

Elegant Butterfly

Good Morning!

I love this Elegant Butterfly Punch!  I stamped the butterfly's from the Papillon Potpourri Stamp Set in Pink Pirouette and punched them out using the Elegant Butterfly Punch and added some pearls.  I sponge around the edges using soft suede ink to add a little dimension to them.  On the Certainly Celery piece I die cut the bottom edge using one of the finishing touches edgelits and then embossed with the petals -a - plenty folder.

That's it for today.  Thanks For stopping by.  Have a great day.

Happy Hour

Anyone in the mood for a drink?  I'm sure by the end of the week I will be, ha!!!    This card is made using the Happy Hour Stamp set.  I used the stampin write marker directly on the stamps and stamped it on whisper white CS.  I then used my 2-way glue pen and sprinkled it with dazzling diamonds stampin glitter.  Colors used on this card are Tangerine Tango, Pool Party, and Whisper White.  This was a simple card but love the way it looks.   It really looks much better in person.

Thanks for stopping by and Have a great week!

The Open Sea

I don't do very many guy cards so I thought I would throw in a masculine birthday card today.  Colors on this one are Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy, and whisper white.  I stamped the image from the open sea stamp set in staz on ink and sponged around the edges in night on navy ink.  The background piece is hard to see but it is stamped with the word stamp from that set in night of navy ink.  The ribbon is the 1/8" taffeta Ribbon in Daffodil delight which I just criss crossed and taped to the back of the night of navy CS.  The happy birthday is from the Itty Bitty Banners and is Die cut using the Bitty Banners Framelits.

Well that's it for now.  Thanks for stopping by.  Feel free to leave a comment i would love to hear what you think:)
