Shoebox swap

I went to a shoebox swap today at my friend France's house.  It was soooo much fun.  There was 9 projects and they all where beautiful.  I am planning on signing up to be a stampin up demo, these ladies are so much fun and SU has the best products.  I'm hoping to do some workshops and make a business out of it.
This is one of the projects we made that would be awesome as christmas decortions.  It folds shut and opens as a double sided star.  So awesome!
This is what it looks like when its closed.  Well thats it for now, I just wanted to share a few pictures of the projects we made today.

Papillon Potpourri

Hello Stampers,

I am still having a hard time getting good photos.  My camera is still in the shop getting fixed so I am stuck taking pictures with my phone.  Anyways this is a card I made last night using the sketch at Stampin Queens sketch challenge.  The paper is the background is the new Natural Composition Specialty paper.  The background on the paper was just glossy which I water colored with the new in colors.  I got this idea fromPatty Bennett blog.  Love how this turned out.  The stamp set used is called Papillon Potpourri, which I punched out using the new butterfly punch.  I added some of the new 3/8" stitched satin ribbon in Raspberry Ripple and a large pearl.  Love this ribbon it is soooo soft and very nice to work with.
CS used is Raspberry Ripple, Crumb cake, whisper white.  Inks used are Raspberry Ripple, Gumball Green, Summer Starfruit.  I added some of the DSP and ribbon to the inside to finish it off.  I didn't but a greeting on this card yet because I'…

Harvest Blessing

Hi Stampers,

Have you seen the new SU catalog yet?  It's awesome!  I love this tractor that comes in the Harvest Blessing Stamp set.  I made this card for my Husbands Uncle for fathers day.  I know he's not my father but he is the closest thing I have to a father.  My dad passed away 6 years ago and Uncle Gary has always been there for me.  So it just seems right to make him a fathers day card.  I water colored this image.  The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny wishes.  The red DSP is from the Story time pack and the blue floral paper is from the Comfort Cafe pack.  The ribbon is the new 1/4" stitched grosgrain ribbon in early espresso.

Here is a close-up of the colored image.
For the inside of the card I used some of the same DSP to tie it all together.  The sentiment is from the A word for You stamp set.  Well that's it for me.  Thanks for stopping by, feel free to leave a comment I would love to hear what you think.

Spooky Halloween

Good Evening!  Well, I have been sick for a while now so I haven't been able to get much stamping done.  I am finally starting to feel a bit better so hopefully I can post more often.  Plus I am off for summer break now, YEA!!!!!  :))) Well for some reason I felt like making a halloween card.  All items used are from SU.  The image is from the Greeting Card Kids stamp set and stamped on watercolor paper.  I water colored her with my stampin write markers and a water tank brush.  I love this little witch and I'm so glad to see her still available in the new catalog.  The sentiments are from the Wicked Cool stamp set.  The DSP is a retired halloween pack.  I sponged around all the edges and the sponged on some of the Champagne Mist shimmer paint, I love playing with the shimmer paints.

I think I enjoy watercoloring more than anything.  I poped up the image and the sentiment on dimensionals.  The pumpkin on the inside is from the Jack of all Trades stamp set.  Inks used are pear…
