VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU!!!!

Just a quick post today.  This is a thank you card I made using the Apothecary Art stamp set from SU.  I water colored the flowers on this using my stampin wirte markers and a aqua brush and cut out using one of the label framelit dies.   The CS used is Pear Pizzazz, Early espresso, black, and water color paper.  On the pear pizzazz paper I cut and embossed the bottom using one of the new edgelit dies.  I embossed the top half with the polka dot EF.  I didn't take a picture of the inside but I continued the theme with a bigger label die. I made this using the stamping 411 sketch. Thanks for stoppin by:)

Sweet Valentine

Good Evening,  I have been wanting to make a valentine box since I saw these heart dies from SU.  I started by cutting out 2 hearts with the hearts framelits dies on that thin carboard backing that comes with the DSP.  I thought this would make it more sturdy.  You can not cut the thicker cardboard or chipboard with these dies but you can the white thin cardboard.  I then cut 2 hearts in Ridding hood red (which I am now out of, note to self) and glued them to the whiteboard hearts with my tombow glue.  I then cut a strip of DSP from the new twitterpated collection (which I absoultely love) with the same heart die.  I added some of the new pleated satin ribbon in blushing bride along the top of the DSP.  I then stamped an image from the "Take it to Heart" stamp set in Whisper white craft ink and embossed it with my new cherry sented embossing powder and cut it out using one of the smaller heart dies.  The banner is from the same stamp set and the sweet Valentine is from "something to celebrate" stamp set.  I tied a little bow and attached on of the Trinket Hearts charms to it.  For the box I cut a piece of CS at 5 x 5 and a piece of CS at 5 1/16 x 5 1/16 and scored them at 1" on all sides and glued them to the hearts.  This is perfect to hold a few ghiradelli chocolates or other small candies.  Hope you like it, Thanks for stopping by:)
