Dymanic Duo

Hello Stampers!

Well today's card is made using the color challenge over atDynamic Duos.  The colors this week are River Rock and Black with an option of brads.  I started with a base of basic black and layered it with River rock.  The stamp set used is called Everything Elanor.  Love this set.  On the big label stamp I inked in river rock and then wiped the edges of and sponged basic black ink around the edges.  The flowers was stamped on whisper white CS using StazOn ink and then water colored with river rock ink.  I don't use river rock very often but it is very stunning when paired with black.  The my friend stamp is from the "My Friend" stamp set.

Well that's it for today.  Thanks for stopping by:)

Papillon Potpourri

Happy Monday!  Well it's back to work for me today.  I have meeting all day today and half day tomorrow and then next week we are back to school.  Yikes!    Oh well, at least that means fall is on the way (my favorite time of year).

This card can be used for anything birthday, thinking of you, friendship, etc.  The stamp set is called Papillon Potpourri.  I chose Melon Mambo to start with and used the color coach to get the other colors I used. (Elegant Eggplant and Old Olive)  I stamped each butterfly in a different color and then I water colored the melon mambo inside the top and bottom one.   The middle butterfly I stamped twice, once on the card and the again on a piece of scratch paper using the rock n roll technique and punched it out with the butterfly punch.  For the paper I  used a piece of the Natural Composition Specialty paper and brayered it with Old Olive ink.  This really does look very nice IRL.

Well that's it for today I hope everyone has a great start to t…

Snow Much Fun

T.G.I.F.!
This is one of the card we made at my open house party last night.  This cute snowman is from the Snow Much Fun stamp set.  He is stamped with Staz-on ink on whisper white CS and colored with markers.  The snowflakes in the background are done using the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder on Crumb Cake CS.  The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set and punched out using the word window punch and the modern label punch.
Here is a view of the inside of the card.  Again from the Snow Much Fun stamp set.  I added a little Dazzling Details to the snowball and the snowman buttons.  Well that's it for now.  Have a great weekend.

Raining Flowers

Good Morning!  Today's card is one I got from my good friend Lynne for my Birthday!  I absolutely love this card.  I don't have this stamp set yet, but I will.  I love how clean and bright and cheery this card is.  She used Melon Mambo, gumball green, and whisper white.  Don't you just love the rhinestone jewels she added around the flower.

Well that's it for today, I'm off and running my daughter has volleyball practice so she is keeping me busy in the mornings.  See you tomorrow.  Thanks for stopping by.

Evergreen

Happy Wednesday!

Today's card is done using the Evergreen stamp set and the Snowflake Soiree stamp set.  I did a tone on tone look for the background with the snowflakes.  Don't have the perfect DSP, make your own by stamping random images on the CS.  The tree is stamped in Certainly Celery and Old Olive.  The sentiment is from the Teeny tiny wishes stamp set and punched with the word window punch and then layered in old olive with the modern label punch.

It's pretty simple but looks very nice.  Well that's it for now but come back tomorrow for more:)

BOO

Good Morning!  I'm a little late getting this posted today.  I couldn't get my computer to read my memory card.

I love dressing up this cute little owl.  For this card i used the Owl builder punch and punched him out using Chocolate chip CS.  His cute little coat is punched from the Polka dot parade DSP.  The branch he is standing on is from the little leaves sizzlits die and the hat is stamped and cut out from the Wicked Cool stamp set.  And those cute BOO letters are from the new Typeset Alphabet die, I love these letters and can see me using these for lots of scrapbook pages.  The DSP in the background is from the Color collection DSP stacks in Neutrals and the ribbon is the scallop dots ribbon in Old Olive.

Well thats it for today. I gotta run, kids are keeping me busy today.  See you tomorrow for more stamping fun.

Believe

Good Morning!  I hope everyone had a good weekend.  They always seem to fly by so fast.  I've got this week off and then its pretty much back to work, summer break will be over.

Today's card is made using the snowflake Soiree Stamp set, again.  I have been using this set a lot.  Colors are Baja Breeze, Cherry Cobbler, whisper white, and champagne Glimmer Paper (found in the Holiday catalog).  I Stamped The largest snowflake and the smallest snowflake in Cherry cobbler ink, and the 2nd smallest in Baja Breeze.  I punched them out using all the scallop circle punches 2 3/8, 1 3/4, and 1 1/4.  I popped them up on dimensionals.  The snowflakes in the background are stamped with the new Illuminate ink pad and embossed with clear embossing powder.  The Illuminate ink pad has just a touch of glimmer to it, I love it.

Have a great week and Thanks for stopping by.

Evergreen

T.G.I.F.!  While I was doing the dishes this card popped into my head so I had to rush down to my stamp room and make it. lol.  I guess it doesn't really matter what I'm doing I am always thinking about stamping, I may be addicted. HA!  I used the new Coredinations CS for the background.  I embossed it with the Petals-a-Plenty EF and sanded the it to reveal the lighter color.  I used the Evergreen stamp set from the Holiday catalog.  I stamped the solid image in crumb cake and then stamped the words in versa mark and embossed with cherry cobbler embossing powder.
Here is a view of the inside.  I embossed the sentiment with cherry cobbler embossing powder.  That's it for now, come back tomorrow for more.  Thanks for stopping by.

Googly Ghouls

What a cute little witch.  And I just love those googly eyes.  This card I made for a swap I did last night with some fellow demonstrators.  I Love Halloween and Fall.  Fall just makes me so happy.  I used the new Googly Ghouls stamp set and the googly eyes both found in the Holiday catalog.   For the spider web I used my brayer and inked up the embossing folder with Frost White Shimmer paint and then placed a piece of black CS on it and ran it through the big shot.  The rest of the card is pretty self-explanatory.   Well I guess that's it for today, come back tomorrow for more stamping.  Thanks for stopping by and feel free to leave a comment, I love hearing from you.

Full of Blessings

Good Morning!  When I saw this stamp set in the Holiday Catalog I new i had to have it.  It has some great images to color and it fall stamps (my favorite season).  I used 2 challenges to make this card.  The first one was The Dynamic Duos challenge which was to use Pumpkin Pie and Wild Wasabi.  When I first saw this combination I was a little worried how it would turn out, but I absolutely love it.  The second challenge is the Stamping 411 Sketch challenge.  I love using sketches!

Now about the details: I stamped the wreath on water color paper with Stazon ink and water colored it using my ink pads.  I dabbed my gold pen (a new item in the Holiday Catalog) on the little berries in the wreath.  I used a Vintage faceted designer button in the center with a piece of pumpkin pie CS punched out with the 1/2" circle punch and tied a bow using some linen thread.  The ribbon across the top of the card is the 1/4" stitched grosgrain ribbon in wild wasabi.  To get the ruffled effe…

Snowflake Soiree

Heres another one using the Snowflake Soiree stamp set.  I again did the double time stamping with a window on the second layer.  This time I cut out a piece of midnight muse to layer over the top of the window.  Colors used are Crumb cake, Midnight Muse, Raspberry Ripple.  I stamped the Believe in Versa mark and embossed with a mixture of white embossing powder and Iridescent Ice embossing powder.  I added a few Jewels to give it a little sparkle.  Well i guess that it for now.  Come back tomorrow for more stamping.  Thanks for stopping by:)

Googly Ghouls

Good Morning Stampers!  On this card I used the triple time stamping technique but instead of having the third layer on there I cut a window in the second layer and stamped the mummy from the Googly Ghouls set (in the Holiday Catalog).  I used the Window frames framelits dies to make the window.  I cut a smaller one in black to add some layers.  Love the Googly eyes.
I thought maybe you could see the layers better from a side shot.  The mummy is actually glued to the first layer and the second layer is popped up on deminsonals.  Well thats it for now.  I hope to have a calm day with lots of stamping and maybe a little laundry.

Make a Cake

Love this make a cake stamp set and I wasn't to sure about it when i got it. lol.  This card was super fun to make.  The Make a Cake stamp set is a 2 step stampin set.  You can make the cake with however many layers you want and serveral different choices for decorating the top of the cake.  So much fun.  Stamp-a-ma-jig is a must for 2 step stamping, it makes it so easy to layer images on top of each other.  I used the sketch over at Stampin Queen's Sketch Challenge.  I used the DSP to decide on my colors for this card.  CS used is Midnight Muse, Primrose petals, and whisper white.  Inks used are Midnight Muse, Primrose Petals, Baja Breeze, and summer startfruit.  For the 3 buttons I used the new Vintage Faceted designer buttons.  I punched out 3 circles using the 1/2 inch circle punch in baja breeze to put behind the buttons.  Finally I added some rhinestone jewels.  Love this set, oh and the sentiment is from the curly cute stamp set.  Well that's it for today.  Come ba…

Candle Art

Happy Friday!!!!  I'm so excited to show you this candle.  I have done these before but this time I used embossing powder.  I wasn't sure if it would work but it worked beautifully, it looks like someone painted it on.  I started by stamping the big snowflake in versa mark ink on tissue paper and embossing it with Gold embossing powder.  Don't emboss it to long since the tissue paper is very thin, it will catch on fire fast.  Then I cut it out very close the edge of the stamped image and placed it on the candle embossed side up, covered it with waxed paper and heated just until the tissue paper melt into the candle.  The center of the snowflake is a glimmer brad.  I heated up the center of the candle and pushed the brad through.  The snowflakes around the bottom are done using the same method except they are stamped in cherry cobbler ink with no embossing.  I added some cherry cobbler dazzling details in the center of the small snowflakes.  It takes a while for the glitte…

Dynamic Duo

Now these are more like my colors. lol.  I love both of these Crumb Cake and Early Espresso.    I made this for theDynamic Duos challenge and I'm just barely gonna make the deadline, yikes.  I have been itching to get this stamp set inky.  I think this dear is so elegant looking.  The stamp sets used are Christmas Deer, and Delightful Dozen (on the inside) from the big catalog and Snowflake Soiree from the Holiday Catalog.  I have been using the Snowflake set alot, it is a very versatile stamp set.  I also used the new Snow Flurry die to make that cute snowflake at the bottom. The deer is embossed in early espresso embossing powder and the snowflakes hanging from his antlers is embossed in Gold embossing powder.
And here is a photo of the inside.  Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the new Holiday Catalog.

Four Seasons/stamping 411

The new Holiday Mini starts today and its is an AWESOME one. Lots of fun new Holiday stuff to play with. Make sure and check it out.

Good morning!  I made this cute little Thank you card last night using thestamping 411 sketch.  I don't usually make small cards but I love this.  It measures 41/4 x 41/4.  The stamp set i used is called Four Seasons and is a hostess set.  I stamped it on whisper white CS with versa mark ink and embossed it with Early Espresso embosing powder.  I then stamped the image again in gumball green ink and punched out the center with the 1" circle punch.  The background paper is done using the woodgrain embossing folder.
I like to add a little something to the inside of my cards.  This little leaf is also from the four seasons stamp set.
