Elegant Butterfly

Good Morning!

I love this Elegant Butterfly Punch!  I stamped the butterfly's from the Papillon Potpourri Stamp Set in Pink Pirouette and punched them out using the Elegant Butterfly Punch and added some pearls.  I sponge around the edges using soft suede ink to add a little dimension to them.  On the Certainly Celery piece I die cut the bottom edge using one of the finishing touches edgelits and then embossed with the petals -a - plenty folder.

That's it for today.  Thanks For stopping by.  Have a great day.

Happy Hour

Anyone in the mood for a drink?  I'm sure by the end of the week I will be, ha!!!    This card is made using the Happy Hour Stamp set.  I used the stampin write marker directly on the stamps and stamped it on whisper white CS.  I then used my 2-way glue pen and sprinkled it with dazzling diamonds stampin glitter.  Colors used on this card are Tangerine Tango, Pool Party, and Whisper White.  This was a simple card but love the way it looks.   It really looks much better in person.

Thanks for stopping by and Have a great week!

The Open Sea

I don't do very many guy cards so I thought I would throw in a masculine birthday card today.  Colors on this one are Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy, and whisper white.  I stamped the image from the open sea stamp set in staz on ink and sponged around the edges in night on navy ink.  The background piece is hard to see but it is stamped with the word stamp from that set in night of navy ink.  The ribbon is the 1/8" taffeta Ribbon in Daffodil delight which I just criss crossed and taped to the back of the night of navy CS.  The happy birthday is from the Itty Bitty Banners and is Die cut using the Bitty Banners Framelits.

Well that's it for now.  Thanks for stopping by.  Feel free to leave a comment i would love to hear what you think:)

Serene Silhouettes

Good Morning!

Well I finally found sometime to get some stamping done.  This card is done using theSweet Sunday Sketch Challenge and theDynamic Duo color Challenge.  I used the First Edition Specialty DSP and
Cajun Craze DSP.  Always Artichoke CS and Cajun Craze CS.  The image was stamped on the always artichoke CS in versa mark and embossed with clear embossing powder.

Well thats about it for today.  Thanks for stopping by.

Serene Sunset

Good Morning!

Well this is the card I made for a swap at Reginals. I used the Serene Silhouettes stamp set for the tree.  And how did I get that beautiful sunset?  Lots of sponging.  I cut out  a piece of Glossy white paper with the 3" Circle die.  I used So Saffron, More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Sahara Sand, and Soft Suede ink.  But before I started sponging I punched out a piece of sticky note with the 1" inch circle and put it on the paper so I wouldn't get any ink on the sun.  Then when I was done sponging I pulled up the sticky note and sponged a little bit of so saffron on the sun so it wasn't pure white.  Then stamped the tree with versa mark and embossed with early espresso embossing powder.  This was inspired by the birthday card I made for my husband.  I will show you that another day.  The happy birthday sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Banners witch match up perfectly with the new Bitty Banners Framelits, makes it so easy to cut out.  Love it. …
