Butterfly Lucy

Hi There,

I'm back with another card kit from Heathers Hobby Haven!  I have several of her kits so you will be seeing more of these.  Love the kits!

This card uses a C.C. Design stamp called Butterfly Lucy, isn't she a cutie.  I water colored her with distress inks.
This card was so much fun, I loved making a scene in the background.  Lucy is cut out and popped up on dimensionals.  Well I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and now its time to go back to work tomorrow.  Have a great week.  Thanks for stopping by:)

Clean and Simple with Merry Minis

Good Morning,

Sometimes you just need to make a clean and simple card.  I used the sketch over at The Sweet Stop for this card and the color challenge at Dynamic Duos.  Wow time got away from me I almost missed entering this in the color challenge.  I have to say those little stamps from the Merry Minis stamp set and the matching Punch Pack are so much fun to play with.  The colors are Sahara Sand and Cherry Cobbler.  I stamped the Sentiment from the Curly Cute stamp set on the Sahara Sand CS and then embossed it with Petals-a-Plenty EF.  The ribbon is the seam binding ribbon in Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler.  I felt like the trees needed a little sparkle so I added so Dazzling Details to them.
and here's the inside of the card.  The sentiment is from the Beautiful Season stamp set.  Well that's it for today.  Hope everyone has a great day.  Thanks for stopping by:)

Bells & Boughs

Good Evening,

Wow this was a fun card to make.  Of course I enjoyed it cause I got to watercolor, he he!  I used the sketch at Paper Craft Crew for this card.  It was a bit of a challenge to get the cherry cobbler piece the right size and the sentiment in just the right place so that the image wouldn't cover it up, but I love the result.  The DSP is from the Candlelight Christmas in the Holiday catalog.  The stamp is from the bells & boughs stamp set, stamped on  watercolor paper with stazon ink.  I water colored with a water tank brush and my ink pads.  Colors used are more mustard, cherry cobbler, and Old Olive.  I added some cherry cobber dazzling details to the berries and silver sparkle dazzling details on a few spots on the bells.
Here is a view of the inside of the card.  I stamped another of the images from the stamp set on the inside and water colored it.  Well that's it for tonight thanks for stopping by:))

Christmas Choir Girl part 2

Happy Monday!  It's a very happy Monday since I didn't have to work today, yea!!!!!!  Instead I cleaned house and stamped, ahh the perfect day.  This card uses the same image as the one from yesterday except this time I water colored her with distress ink.  Water coloring might just be my absolute favorite thing to do.  I love to color with my copic markers just as much but theres something about dipping a paint brush in the ink and moving it around that just makes me so happy.
Here is a close up of the image.  It's hard to see in the photo but there is a little yellow glow around the image. I used the sketch over at Mojo Monday for my card and I am also going to enter this in the Monthly Challenge at Bunny Zoe's Crafts, which is to use a winter theme.  I love the little snowflake on the sentiment instead of a flower, perfect for Christmas.
Here is a glimpse of the inside of the card.  This card is going to a very sweet lady, I hope she likes it.
Here are the colors used on the image:
Skin: Tattered rose, tea dye, aged mahogany
Hair:  antique linen, gathered twigs, vintage photo, walnut stain
Robe: pumice stone, barn door
Leafs:  shabby shutter, pine needles
Cat:  black soot, aged mahogany, barn door, fired brick marker, bell- wild honey
Background: wild honey, pumice stone

Thanks for stopping by:))

Christmas Choir Girl

Good Evening,  This card is made using a kit I got from Heathers Hobby Haven.  The stamp is called Chistmas Choir Girl by Whimsy Stamps.  I can't believe its been so long since I've sat down and colored an image.  It felt sooooo good to color.  I love this image.  This one is colored with copic markers, one of my favorite things to color with.  I also made another card with the same image only I water colored it with distress inks, my other favorite way to color.  I will show that card tomorrow.
Here is a close-up of the image.  I have tomorrow off thankfully so I hope to get caught up on some organizing and stamping, and maybe some laundry.  Well that's all for tonight.  Thanks for stopping by and feel free to leave a comment I'd love to hear from you.
