Bloomin' Marvelous

T.G.I.F.!!!!!!  Oh my am I glad its the weekend.  I can't wait to go to bed and sleep until I feel like getting up instead of the alarm telling me when to get up.

This card I made just because.  It is a clean and simple card.  The base of the card is in Lucky Limeade.  I used my simply score to make the lines around the border.  The swirly design is from the Everything Eleanor stamp set and stamped in lucky limeade.  The butterflies and the sentiment are from a stamp set that you can get for free if you place an order of $50.  It is called Bloomin' Marvelous.  I added some Dazzling details and some tiny pearls.  Oh and the butterflies are stamped in so saffron.

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Yea, No school today!!!!  I have lots of cleaning and laundry to do today but I plan to fit in some stamping time as well.

This is a card I made for the make and take at the stamp sale we had on Saturday.  This sweet little bunny is from the Everybunny stamp set.  I water colored her with my ink pads and a water tank brush.  This is a simple card but soooo cute.  Colors used are Melon Mambo, Pretty in pink, basic gray, soft suede, island indigo, and lucky limeade.  CS used is Melon Mambo, Island Indigo, and water color paper.  The DSP is from Tea for Two in the spring catalog.
Here is a close up of the image.  Super fun and super easy to do.  Water coloring just takes a little practice and you'll be an expert in no time.  The most important tip I can give you is to make sure you don't get the paper to wet so the colors wont run and let it dry in between layers.  Give it a try I know you'll love it.

Mojo Monday

Happy Sunday!

This is a card I made for the Mojo Monday sketch last week and forgot to post it.  For this card I used a stamp set from sale-a-bration, called Patterned Occasions.  I colored directly on the stamp with my stampin write markers and stamped on whisper white CS.  Colors used are Calypso Coral (which is only good for about 5 more months), Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, and whisper white.  The DSP is from the Tea for Two set in the spring catalog.    The hearts on the right side of the card are from the Confetti stamp set.

That's it for today.  Thanks for stopping by!

Bloomin Marvelous

This is a card I made for a swap, actually I made 12 of them. Which I didn't get to go to because I came down with Influenza A.  I'm hoping by Monday I will feel well enough to go back to work.  My darling Hubby was sweet enough to take my cards to the swap so they could still swap them.  I used items from the new spring catalog and items from the sale-a-bration catalog.  Starting Jan. 22- March 22 for every $50 you spend you can pick an item from the sale-a-bration for free.  Colors used on this are Bravo Burgundy, More Mustard, Crumb Cake, and Very Vanilla.  That cute rose is from Flower trim, its like a ribbon of Roses, I just cut one off and sponged it with more mustard ink.  I absolutely love the little butterfly punch.  I punched them out in bravo burgundy and sprayed them with a mixture of rubbing alcohol and shimmer paint to give them a sparkle.   Well thanks for stopping by.  I hope to stamp something this weekend.

Happy You

Well I have been trying to post this for several days but every time I try I can't upload any pictures to blogger.  I think its Internet Explorer because when I switched to firefox it worked fine.  Is anyone else having this issue?

This is a card I made for a shoebox swap last weekend.  Oh my gosh that was fun.  The stamp set I used for this one is a hostess stamp set called HAPPY YOU.  It comes with 8 images and 8 sentiments.  So if you would like to have this set book a party with me.  I stamped it on watercolor paper with staz-on ink.  I water colored with my ink pads (soft suede and raspberry ripple).  The sentiment is in the new mini spring catalog its called THAT'S THE TICKET.  This is a must have stamp set.  I used the sketch at Try stampin on Tuesday for the layout.  Love this valentines card.

I hope you like it.  I'm glad I finally got to post this and I think I'm still in time to enter the challenge.  Have a great week!
