Simply Sent App

Happy Monday everyone!!

Sorry I didn't get a chance to post anything yesterday, we were busy visiting and have a great time with family.

This is something I created on the Simply sent App for the iphone.  It's probably like using MDS on the computer except there are not as many options on the App but its fun to play with.  This is a photo of Lynne and I on the bus on our way to tour Stampin Up's home office.  It was so much fun.  I am going to have to give MDS a try cause if this was fun I can only imagine all stuff I can do with MDS.
Here are some of the pictures from Cheyenne Frontier Days that I promised.  The first 2 are from the parade and the last one is from the Melodrama we went to.  We really had a lot of fun with the family this weekend, so sad to see everybody head home.

Thanks for stopping by.

Rev up the Fun

Saturday already!  Well we are off to the parade for Cheyenne Frontier Days.  We always have lots of fun during Cheyenne Frontier Days.

This card was one I made for a swap at our team meeting with my up line and fellow demonstrators.  I love doing swaps.  I love this stamp set (Rev up the Fun) it's perfect for boys from small to big.  I used a couple different embossing folders on this one.  I stamped the car in cherry cobbler on scrap paper and cut it out, and popped it up on dimensionals.  I love the way this turned out, maybe you could punch out a circle and write how old they are turning on it and glue over the 25. (16th birthday maybe)

Well that's it for today.  Come back tomorrow, I might have some picture from Frontier Days.

Serene Silhouette

T.G.I.F, and it is a good Friday.  This is the last of my swaps cards from Convention.  This one uses the bleach technique.  Colors used on this card are Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, and Crumb Cake.  I first stamped the tree with bleach on Cajun craze and then using my stamp-a-majig  to offset it a little I stamped over the bleach with early espresso.

This is a good masculine card and it can be done in many different color combos.  I have been using my color coach a lot lately, I love that tool.  Well that's it for today.  Stop by tomorrow for more.

Secret Garden

Wow Thursday already!  This is a card I was going to make for Convention but never got a round to making.  And this probably would have been the easiest of all of them to mass produce. lol.  Color used are Marina Mist, Real Red, and Whisper white, and I believe the stem of the flowers was Old Olive.

On the Whisper White CS I crumpled up a piece of tissue paper and glued it on the CS.  When it was dry I stamped the flowers and greeting on the tissue paper.  I tried stamping it on the tissue paper before I crumpled it but I wasn't patient enough to let it dry so when I crumpled it all the ink smeared everywhere.  Stamping it after you glue it on CS is easier anyways that way you know how much space you have.  The blue flower I stamped on a scrap piece of paper and water colored it with the marina mist ink pad and cut it out using the secret garden framelits.
I was playing with the Washi Tape I got at convention and thought it added a cute touch to this card.  This is from the C…

Giggle Greetings

Good Morning,

This is another of my swap cards from convention.  I love the stamps in the Giggle Greetings stamp set.  On this one I stamped on whisper white CS with stazon ink.  I used my ink pads and water tank brush to water color the image.  When dry I added some crystal effects to the cherries.  I used the label collection frame lits on the night of navy and real red piece.  I used the same frame lit for both pieces, on the red one I cut a smaller strip of paper so it would only cut the middle section of the die.

This was a fun card to make but again it was very time consuming to make multiples which is why I didn't have very many of these.  That's it for today.  Tomorrow I will have a card I was gonna use for convention but never got around to making.

Wedding Card

Todays card is one that I made for a swap at convention.  I used the Hearts collection framelits.  On the small white heart I stamped one of the mixed bunches stamp in versa mark and embossed with iridescent ice and the gray heart I embossed with the stripes folder.  I used the pearls to make a necklace and the boho blossoms punch to make the flower.  Colors for this card is whisper white and smoky slate.

This card seemed simple to make and it is when you are just making one but when I started try make a bunch of them for swaps it was very time consuming.  I love the way it turned out though.

Well that's it for today check back tomorrow for more.

Rev up the fun

This is the card I made for my son's birthday a week ago.  I embossed the car in cherry cobbler and cut it out and popped it up on the card.  The stamp set is called Rev up the fun. the happy birthday stamp is from a hostess set called Banner Greetings.  Colors used are cherry cobbler, basic black, and whisper white.  This stamp set is lots of fun for boy cards.  Love the smoke coming out of the  back.
I just got home from convention yesterday so check back tomorrow to see 1 of my swap cards I made.
